Alumni Stories
Working at the intersection of technology, regulation, and public policy, HUJI alumna Becky Choi has built a dynamic career focused on the public interest. Since earning her MA in Smart Cities & Urban Informatics at the Hebrew University in 2025, she has contributed to the G20 Global Smart City Alliances at the World Economic Forum, worked as a regulatory and policy analyst on emerging technology and telecom policy across international markets, and now serves as a Regulatory Operations Associate at DoorDash, where she conducts regulatory review and works to ensure the company's growth aligns with the needs of local communities.
Her fondest memories from HUJI include pitching a public safety AI platform in class. It was a moment when policy, technology, and real-world impact came together, reinforcing her passion for a career at the intersection of technology and the public good, a throughline she now carries into her work helping DoorDash grow responsibly in the communities it serves.
