Whether you want to expand your HUJI network, reconnect with fellow alumni, mentor students, pursue lifelong learning, or stay updated on HUJI’s latest developments, our Global Alumni Association is dedicated to keeping you connected to all things HUJI.

Since its inception in 1925, Hebrew University has attracted international students. The first program for international students began in 1956, formalizing into The School for Overseas Students in 1971. In 1981, it became the Rothberg International School (RIS) in honor of Sam Rothberg, a driving force behind its creation. Today, RIS is a global hub, drawing students from over 90 countries, with a distinguished faculty and an annual enrollment exceeding 2,000 students.
